Concluding Colloquium 2020

Following the headline "Sustainable Innovations for Materials, Components and Manufacturing Processes" the partners of the Saxon Alliance for MAterial- and Resource-Efficient TechnOlogies (AMARETO) present their research results in the fields of systematic material design, interlinked development processes and resource-efficient production. The colloquium, which is designed as a web conference, is intended to offer scientists and developers from industry and research a platform for practice-oriented information and technical exchange. One of the central objectives is the technology transfer, thereby enabling the Saxon economy to benefit from the competence and know-how of the alliance. We are looking forward to welcoming you!

Kick-off-Meeting

From 2017 to 2020, the Saxon State Ministry for Higher Education, Research and the Arts funds the project “Saxon Alliance for MAterial- and Resource-Efficient TechnOlogies – AMARETO” in the amount of 5.5 million euros by means of the European Regional Development Fund. On 30th January 2017, Dr. Eva-Maria Stange, Saxon State Minister for Higher Education, Research and the Arts, handed over the official notification to the persons in charge at the Chemnitz University of Technology, the Technische Universität Dresden, the TU Bergakademie Freiberg as well as the Fraunhofer Institute for Machine Tools and Forming Technology, Chemnitz. The funds will serve as start-up financing for the joint research project. It shall be augmented and prolonged by raising subsidies and by involving industrial partners.
